Brazilian Voice Artist
Hi! I am Maria Bernardes, a Voice Over Artist in Brazilian Portuguese.
I am based in Barcelona and have a home studio (a Studiobricks booth), where I record mainly in Brazilian Portuguese. I also record in English in projects that require an international accent.
I was awarded the SOVAS Voice Arts Awards in the category Outstanding Narration - E-learning - Best Portuguese VoiceOver (2021), having also been nominated in the categories Outstanding Commercial - TV or Web - Best Voiceover Portuguese (2021) and Outstanding Narration - Corporate - Best Portuguese Voice Over (2022).
I work with all sorts of projects, from commercials, to corporate videos, e-learnings, podcasts and dubbing, among others. You can see some of the clients I'm proud to have collaborated with and listen to some of my demos here.
As a translator, I work from English and Spanish to Brazilian Portuguese. I have a degree in English Studies and a master’s degree in Cognitive Science and Language.
