The joys of an improv performer

In July, I performed the Pretty Flower format with this amazing improv group. Pretty Flower is quite a challenging improv format, with a grounded base scene and spokes that derive from it. It requires a great deal of focus, quick thinking, and the ability to create a variety of strong characters.
It’s hard to describe all the benefits that the art of improv brings to my life. Besides the immense joy and sense of support it brings to me personally, it also helps me professionally by making me a more versatile actress, helping me handle unpredictability with greater ease, and constantly building my confidence.
It’s also a privilege to work with such international groups, as they allow us to see situations from many different perspectives.
Always grateful to have improv as a constant source of growth, connection, and joy in my life.
